Family Business Histories project
From IKEA to Majid Al Futtaim – family-owned firms make up over 80% of the private sector. Are you interested in learning about a career in a family business, or perhaps you are thinking of joining your family’s own venture? Join us Wednesday, 24th April 2024 from 2pm-3pm, at the NYUAD campus for a career panel discussion hosted by the Family Business Histories project.
Our panelists are owners and next-gen leaders from leading family enterprises and will discuss what it’s like working within a family business or alongside your own family. We will get insights into the foundational elements of family businesses and how to navigate their distinctive cultures. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how to integrate and thrive in these unique business environments.
This hybrid session is designed for students at any stage of their education and is a great opportunity to learn about the career paths available, the opportunities in the regional private sector and the intricacies of working in privately-owned companies.
